The Canal MarketPlace is a multi use complex at the gateway to the historic Blackstone Canal District in the heart of Central Massachusetts. The Blackstone Canal, once the only way to carry freight and passengers between Worcester and Narragansett Bay, is part of the revitalization of downtown Worcester. With huge parking lots off of Harding, Temple, and Winter Streets, is conveniently located near historic Union Station.

The Canal MarketPlace has already begun to rent space. Our Grand Opening in Spring 2006 includes such upscale business as Castellana’s Restaurant and Trattoria, Lady Carrington Function Facility and Executive Conference Center and Top Notch Grille & Deli, a genuine New York Style Deli. These tenants have already begun to move in.

The Lady Carrington Banquet Facility and Conference Center can handle intimate gatherings from 10 to 250 guests. Castellana's Restaurant and Trattoria is an elegant dining experience for the most sophisticated palette.

The Canal MarketPlace is prime commercial space with three parking lots on the premises. This property is itself an historic landmark, once operated as a foundry when the Blackstone Canal was in its heyday. It also produced the vast majority of metal castings used in the building of the canal and adjacent buildings.
